THIS KNITTING PATTERN IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD IN PDF FORMAT AND IN ENGLISH ONLY!
The Fleuriste socks are worked in the same flower and ivy inspired lace stitch that I used for my very popular Fleuriste cardigan. The lace pattern is a variation of a Japanese lace pattern that can be found in Hitomi Shida’s 250 Japanese Knitting Stitches book.
The Fleuriste socks are knitted toe up with a short-row heel. The socks are started with Judy’s magic cast on and are best worked with the magic loop technique. The heels are worked with German short rows, which are explained in this pattern. The Fleuriste socks look best in solid or slightly variegated colors for the stitch pattern to show in its full glory.
